Originally from Pittsburgh, Haley got her B.S. in Biology at Penn State’s Schreyer Honors College. Before becoming a stay-at-home mom she was a career wanderer, working aboard tall ships teaching marine science for several outdoor educational programs including Living Classrooms in Baltimore, Maryland and Call of the Sea in Sausalito, California where she met and married the captain of the boat. Travels between jobs took her to six of the seven continents. Now adventure comes in the form of watching a five year-old learn to read, a three year-old learn to be a big sister, an infant change every day, and following Jesus. She lives in the Mainline suburbs of Philadelphia.
